Harris L. Friedman, PhD

Harris L. Friedman, Ph.D. is a Core Faculty member in the PhDC program in transpersonal psychology at Sofia University. He is also Research Professor of Psychology (retired) at University of Florida, and has taught and served in many leadership roles at other schools, such as Visiting Scholar at Harvard University. His applied work is in clinical and organizational psychology, and he has published over a dozen books and over 300 chapters and papers. He is Senior Editor and Publisher of the International Journal of Transpersonal Studies and he has served as editor and on the editorial boards of many other journals. His primary academic interest is in bringing more scientific perspectives into transpersonal psychology and bringing more transpersonal perspectives into mainstream-scientific psychology.
