Douglas A. MacDonald, PhD

Douglas A. MacDonald, Ph.D. is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Detroit Mercy and a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science. He has spent much of his career pursuing empirical research in transpersonal psychology with particular emphasis given to the measurement of spirituality and the exploration of its relation to health and well-being. In addition to his research, he serves in an editorial capacity for a variety of journals including the Journal of Transpersonal Psychology (Associate Editor, Research), the Journal of Humanistic Psychology (Senior Research Editor), the International Journal of Transpersonal Studies (Senior Research Editor/Editor Emeritus), and Frontiers in Psychology (Associate Editor, Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology).
