Abigail Villagrán Mora, PhD

Abigail Villagrán Mora holds a Ph.D. in Composition and Applied Linguistics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She currently serves as president of the Latin American Network of Writing Centers and Programs, affiliated with the International Writing Centers Association (IWCA), and is a founding member of the Mexican Network of Writing Centers. 

She directs the Writing Center at the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) in Puebla, Mexico. The center offers peer tutoring certified through Levels 1 and 2 of the International Tutor Training Program Certificate granted by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA), supporting students across all academic levels and learning modalities offered by the university. 

She also serves as a guest editor for WLN: Connecting Writing Centers Across Borders), where she actively promotes the work of Latin American writing centers.
